ABOUT PANGEA

Swinging Monkey Business!

SwingingMonkeySculpture

Swinging Monkey Business!

Our latest sculpture addition really knows how to make an entrance… it’s the new swinging monkey sculpture! The Pangea ape family already consists of grinning gorillas, cheeky chimpanzees and boisterous baboons, but they better watch out because there are some new primates on the block.
The swinging monkeys resemble the baboons in their size, features and texture. They are about 2ft tall with small, round eyes and a distinctive, long nose that are emphasised by the grainy quality of recycled metal that resembles the hairy coat of this nimble ape so well. However, unlike the baboons that are captured sitting in a stationary pose, the swinging monkeys are designed to appear to be scurrying along the floor, or when positioned vertically, climbing up a tree!
Their hands and fingers are skilfully welded to give the impression of clinging onto something whilst their thick curly tails are long and flexible for hanging from high objects. You could easily hang this lightweight sculpture by the tail from a tree branch outside to give a real and authentic effect in the garden.
The diversity of what you can do with these sculptures is huge. Have them looking mischievous climbing up the side of your house or scurrying across your roof holding a banana. Alternatively, attach one to an indoor pillar or the corner of a wall and watch the amazement on your family and friend’s faces when they think that a real-life monkey has escaped into your home!
Fixings are required to attach this sculpture to your chosen location and will depend on what material the monkey is being secured to. Please feel free to ask someone on the team for more information, we would be happy to advise you.
This is a sculpture for fun-loving and playful individuals who want to welcome something quirky and amusing into their home. So if that sounds like you, stop monkeying around and get a swinging monkey sculpture today!
